Combination Policy.
An auto insurance policy made up of the contracts of two or more insurers in which each provides a different kind of insurance. Combination policies were once commonly used in automobile insurance when state law limited casualty companies to the writing of liability insurance and fire Insurance companies to physical damage insurance.
Combination policies are rarely written today.
